I always use scrubbers to do the dishes but these are so cute I may be switching! I have various colors and can do custom orders. I have made them in various designs and sizes. I will be posting more soon. I am selling them for $4 each or a set or 3 for $20. Let me know if anyone is interested!

Social media

Well social media is exhausting. I have been on facebook, etsy, twitter and instagram for the past few hours trying to get everything updated. I have been so busy at my job and also working with chris and working on our house that I have ignored my social media for long enough. It is time to get back into the habit of promoting my business and making it successful. I love that in the hours I have spent tonight online I can see my views on my social media rise as i am still updating. It really shows you that your business is successful based on the amount of time you are willing to promote it. I I need to block out time for my social media every week to keep it updated.  I have so many great projects going right now that I should probably get back to them. Goodnight!

Crochet bracelets

Here is an adorable crochet bracelet. The first picture is two bracelets twisted together. The second picture is worn as 1 bracelet alone. The third picture shows the button style closure on the back. This bracelet is grey with pinkish/purplish beads. I can change the colors and do 2 different colors together to twist and have a really cool look. Any color you are looking for check with me and I will see what I can find. These bracelets are $10 each

Crossbody purse

This is my first crossbody purse. I took the pattern for the moraccan market tote and changed it to make it smaller. I think it turned out really great. I absolutely love this design and am going to try to make a matching change purse. I am able to change the colors and the lining to match what you are looking for. It is lined with fabric and has a small pocket on the inside for keys or a cell phone. It also has an adjustable strap. I am selling these for $45 and will ship for a shipping charge depending on where I am sending it. Please contact me if you would like to place an order. Sarascustomcrafts@gmail.com

3am

Well 3am just hit and I am still up working on websites and such. Chris finally talked me into making a twitter and instagram account because he saw something on the news this morning about a small cake company that ended up expanding to a huge company because of instagram. And he says why not twitter if you are doing instagram. Might as well do them both. Problem is…I have no idea what I am doing. I am not as young as I used to be and so up with the technology. But that just means that I have to work extra hard to figure out what they are for and how to use them. I have a lot of research to do! lol. Well gonna get back to it I suppose. Goodnight!

The local yarn shop

Today Chris and I went to the local yarn shop. They have specialty yarns and very beautiful yarn that you do not see at a big box store. I love going there and seeing all the samples and of course picking out some yarn that is very different and amazingly beautiful. But with the specialty yarn comes the specialty price. The yarn is not extremely expensive but it is definately priced higher than what I usually buy when frequenting my local Joanns or Michaels. Therefore the prices of my items made with this yarn are a little higher than my normal prices but you get what you pay for with originality. This yarn is so gorgeous and perfect for some beautiful pieces I am work in on! Stay tuned to see some awesome creations soon! Now I have to get to work creating because you can’t sell what isn’t made! Have a great day!
